Noor Us Sabah holds a Ph.D. in Soil Science and possesses seven years of teaching and research experience in the Department of Soil and Environmental Sciences at the College of Agriculture in the University of Sargodha, Punjab, Pakistan. The topic of her doctorate dissertation was “Phosphorus utilization from rock phosphate by maize through integrated organic manures.” She won a gold medal and secured a perfect 4.00/ 4.00 CGPA throughout her professional academic career. She has authored/co-authored 50+ publications in well reputed national and international journals. Her research interests include but are not limited to utilization of industrial wastes for production of new generation fertilizers, integrated nutrient management for degraded soils, soil fertility and plant nutrition, soil salinity, and plant nutrition.
She will be a Visiting Scholar at the CFAES Rattan Lal Center for Carbon Management and Sequestration (Lal Carbon Center) to conduct research on “Differential growth response of wheat genotypes to sparingly soluble P sources enriched with trace elements” for a period of 10 months.
