The IARI–OSU Scholar Exchange Program provides an excellent platform for international collaboration in agricultural research and capacity building. This program effectively connects ICAR–Indian Agricultural Research Institute and the Ohio State University, promoting knowledge exchange on key issues such as carbon sequestration, climate-resilient agriculture, and soil health management.

As a visiting scholar at Ohio State University under this program, I have benefited from interaction with leading scientists, access to advanced laboratory facilities and long-term field trials, and participation in interdisciplinary research discussions.

It was my dream to work with Dr Lal since a decade, mainly to learn about long-term studies on Carbon Science. My motivation to join this program was driven by my commitment to sustainable agriculture, particularly in soil management and climate adaptation. The opportunity to engage with global experts and learn from diverse agro-ecosystems closely aligns with my research goals. It also helps in building collaborations and developing practical solutions for Indian farming systems.
